The name stands for Dave's independent film-production in Berlin, founded in 2005.
We create narrative and experimental shorts and documentaries. APEIRON Films is based in Berlin but produces and screens movies all over Europe.Up to now most of these films were screened at international and regional festivals and KinoKabarets in Berlin, Munich, Brussels, Hamburg, Vienna, London, Mayence, Dresden, Manchester, Malmö and Jena. Many works are also broadcast.

The word απειρον originates in ancient Greek and means:
the boundless, the endless, the impenetrable; after Anaximander it is the unlimited ur-matter of all things. Everything comes from it through excretion and dissolves in it again.

Das Wort απειρον stammt aus dem Altgriechischen und bedeutet:
das Unbegrenzte, Unendliche, Undurchdringliche; nach Anaximander ist es der unbegrenzte Urstoff aller Dinge; aus diesem Urstoff gehen alle Dinge durch Ausscheidung hervor und lösen sich in ihm wieder auf.
